I was in the theatre club last year. My school's pretty big, so they put on about 9 shows a year. I was in The Crucible, as Betty. It was fun, but unfortunetly I had trouble getting along with both the Drama Teacher and the kids in it. Everyone was really snobby, and if you were any bit different (I.e. You'd rather watch some weird foriegn horror film rather than Hairspray) they treated you rather horribly. Not to mention the rumors, which even the teacher participated in.
I still go to the productions, I'm just not involved. Sadly, our school's biggest plays are *shudder* High School Musical, and the like.
