"repetitive noise is thought of as "music", and repetitive meaningless words are coined as an umbrella term for their "lyrics""....and that just about sums up every type of music in the world.

As far as real musicians are concerned, I don't see you hyping up Miles or Monk or any other Jazz great.

As far as "talent" is concerned, it's in the eye of the beholder. However, you complaining about rap reminds me of all those ELO fans who complained about the Ramones because they played too fast....nobody listened to them then and nobody (at least as far as music fans are concerned) would take you seriously now.
