I watched Battle Royale early this year -- downloaded it illegally, of course. The end was kind of confusing to me but I won't say anything about it as it would most likely be a spoiler.

I'm still doing the pee-pee dance in anticipation of seeing Haute Tension. Is there an American release of that? I've been bugging my dad about getting a new region-free DVD player since our old one has gone to shit anyway, so if not I'll probably just buy an import.


Heh, I went to see The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants in the theater with my mom and sister. I actually ended up enjoying it; it was still a chick flick but to much less of an extent than I expected. Meaning, it wasn't entirely about stupid and trite shit or lovey dovey romance.
