I'd probably have bought it if I hadn't just added a ritten to my group two weeks ago. I really wanted to take the poor thing home with me, and did consider it. But I'm at six now, and although I have the room I don't really want any more.
And I have never gotten a pet shop rat before, because I really don't want to keep this practice of breeding for profit going by contributing to it. Your post is making me doubt thought... Do you think I should?
I realize now I was too appalled to check its sex, but I'm guessing it was female or else I would've noticed, and I have females so it would be a possibility.
