Yeah, I know. I'm kinda disappointed with them as well--at least visually. No surprise that they're one of the bands featured in Mercer's
Gothic Rock Black Book. All I can say in their defense is they didn't seem to change their sound as much as Metallica did. I just feel like when Metallica went cowboy it impacted their sound as well as their looks while Fields of the Nep. didn't seem to change their music so much when they did it.
