Unfortunately, you're more likely to run across the unworthy types than you are the worthy. Before I entered college I was unapproachable because of how I looked, but in college people don't often give a damn unless they are super football buffs (which we have a lot of here, but they're not the majority, surprisingly). However, I know once I exit this haven I will return to being that unapproachable chick who wears too much black.
