As far as my kids are concerned, they'll probably be able to be able to come back on Friday after a worker has come by and seen that the house really isn't dirty. Fortunately, my wife has a friend who took them (and her) in for a few days, so they don't have to go to foster homes.
As for my sister-in-laws, I'm not certain. In all honesty, I've been worrying more about my own kids. But I believe that child services will make their step-father move out before they allow them to come back.
