Yeah you could rant that I'm one, but 1: you'd be right, and 2: I didn't say I wasn't ^_^) As for caring about humanity, it's relative. I have a split personality on the subject. First, hate them and we should be wiped off the face of the earth along with close cousin species. Second, stupid humans shitting on our dinner table known as Earth. We should know and do better.
Maturation I would consider being able to put yourself in someone's shoes and see things from their perspective. I try and use that one, but maturation is a sticky subject because everyone has their own idea about maturity.
