well I just said, because personally, I look sickly without using it. So I use a bit around my eyes and blend into my nose for an even look. Women wear makeup because of the appearance factor. Or theatrical reasons. (still appearances)
I mean, why do you wear makeup/or not wear makeup...
when you think about it, most all makeup is bad for your skin. It's not something we were born with, its foreign to the body, same for deodorant, perfumes, anything unnatural. So if a woman (or man) decides she (he) likes the way it looks, regardless of the wear on her (his) body, then that is what she (he) chooses.
I would think that I would probably scare small children if I did not wear some amount of makeup... but this is just me haha.
