The rhetoric on both sides of the pond is ratcheting up. The US is angry at BP which is causing financial distress in the UK. BP and the stock holders are blaming racism instead of anger at the spill as the reason in efforts to keep the stock price from tumbling.
It will be interesting to see what happens here, as even the Prime Minster has been defending BP and insinuating that racism is playing some part in the controversy.
