But your point is well taken. I apparently know a different kind of straight men than you, and was generalizing based only on my somewhat limited experience.
Also, I have a thing I do sometimes when giving a woman some oral attention where I alternate taking a sip from hot and cold glasses of tea from time to time ... and I have yet to find a lover who didn't like it. So that's not far from the grape thing.
