I like it.... but if I may make a suggestion? This sounds like Death's answer to "....And who are you?" at a bar; perhaps add some narritive to it?
Write a poem that tells, "What Would Death Do?".
Perhaps have someone ask him questions, or put him in the position to save someone. It would be interesting.
