So, historically. La/OC band of the eighties, The Adolescents, never existed because everyone was so fixated on Christian Death? Baw.
Because the bands weren't seen, it doesn't mean they didn't exist!

No matter what locale. Take San Francisco *wink* because I know it well. There's so much history in passing bands of obscure seveninch pressings, and holeinthewall clubs, that few but fiends have seen or see.
Maybe it's the fact that the newwave/deathrock split was a bit of a freak occurance, and that this truly lived on evolving into hardcore, fastcore, thrashcore, grindcore, and whatever powerviolencecore. Yet being so different from it's origins, it may be unrecognizeable to some.
