Has Obama been as aggressive as I would have liked him to be? Absolutely not. You really should watch 'Inside Job', it won an Oscar for best documentary this year. They go into great detail about the banking crisis and how bankers used political influence to cause the crisis. They also go into great detail how Obama himself was just as responsible as bush if not more.
He brought in the very men who crashed the system, goldman sachs CEO's, to 'fix' the problem. The reality is the first thing they did is use their new position of power to keep from getting prosecuted and then used their positions to make even more money...at the expense of the American people.
Obama had his hand right in the middle of all of it.
But watch the film - they go into great detail about this.
