Maybe she just wants to be famous, maybe losing weight is just too hard and she's too addicted to food. Who the heck knows?
If she was my friend, I'd have the hard talk with her (but then I'm a bitch like that), but you can't help people who dont' want to be helped. Sometimes though, you need someone who loves you to slap you in the face (verbally) so you realise what you are doing to yourself.
I read somewhere that peopel who have gastric bypass surgery to lose weight, and who don't treat the underlying emotional eating problems, go on to develop other addictions, such as gambling, and sex addictions....
