Respectfully, I think I see a pattern developing here.

My grandfather was a Free-Maison and all of his ideals rubbed off on my Mom who believes that science proves that God doesn't exsist. I don't believe that, I believe science only shows the way that the universe came about after God put it into motion.

Prove that a god is necessary for the hypothesis of creation. Perhaps I should get out my theological argument bingo board. I'm pretty seasoned at this by now.

Yeah... but your personal revelation is wrong. If the message of Christ was perfect; everyone would be Christian. Hell... you guys can't even agree amongst yourselves. But I guess I can take your word on it that you NOW after thousands of years... have the final and true revelation of this god of yours. Clearly the history of Christianity was a polite mistake.

It gets old arguing with people day in and day out and leaving all hot headed and pissed off. No one wants to be angry all the time. When we are having a religious debate, yes speak your mind and defend your beliefs but to go up to people and just ask "Hey what do you believe?" So I can attack it if it doesn't suit mine is just asking for a fight and THAT isn't very Christian.

I'm not a Christian. What the hell makes you think I have to engage with you on Christian terms? Maybe you get angry BECAUSE your ideas can't stand up to scrutiny. I don't care what you think is Christian and not Christian. It's Christian to hate women and love homosexuals but still think their lifestyle is a sin. Your book endorses viciousness and benevolence both. Why should anyone have to take that remotely seriously?

Pothead, I've been baptized three times. Once when I asked if I could when I was 9, then my family wouldn't let me go back to church so I became Wiccan, once at 21 but I ended up leaving that church because they wouldn't help me with the negative stuff I had going on (with the entities) and again by this church called the World Mission Society Church of God who had claimed they knew the second coming Christ....now I am searching for a new Church home because I found a lot of fallacies in the WMSCOG.

Yes, of course. Go to another church that suits YOU instead of you suiting the word of God. It's interesting how much people's gods reflect what they already believe and want.

I don't think I've ever met a Christian who wasn't heartbroken that they lived under the thumb of a blood thirsty war god.

I used to be incredibly devout. I felt the very presence of the lord and Jesus held my hand when I was a child. And all it took for me to see behind the wizard's curtain was to pay attention to the brutal god of the Old Testament, learn about cat dicks, and realize that if the bible got it wrong on slavery and women, how could it have gotten anything else right? The knowledge of God is a critically important, and vastly great emergency and the best this god could ever do is offer up a cosmic riddle, confusion, anecdotal evidence, revealing itself to a bunch of pissed off illiterate desert nomads. Let's ignore the fact that this god didn't bother to reveal or prove itself to a society that had a printing press, writing, and rudimentary technology to document the events such as China. No... let's go to a dilapidated part of the world and have another revelation. You know, because teaching and giving knowledge like that has always worked before, amirite?

Since you like bible quotes, I'll give you one of my favorites:

"And the LORD was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron - Judges 1:19

But I'm sure you could just blame Judah for some misdeed because god never loses a war; right?
