Yeah it is winter, we just got a bit of snow, at least I got outside enough to shovel the walk and brush all the snow off the car. I'm crossing my fingers hoping my rosemary survives the winter.

Saya sorry to hear about the little one having to spend xmas in hospital. I think most hospitals do something special for kids in there on christmas day.
BB - good on ya for making sure she was okay. I've had that experience myself where someone on the bus was making me feel uncomfortable. It's nice to know someone's willing to step up.
Ape and BB: thanks for the support. I wish I could tell him to fuckoff but I live with him. He does know how I feel. I tell him often but sometimes its a case of the old "well you stay home all day, and what have you to show for it?" because the house has been trashed by a pre-schooler.

Friends are in Europe having a white christmas. It looks so beautiful, but then you see some poor person shovelling snow, and you realise that while it looks gorgeous, the pretty white stuff is a lot of hard work.
