Honestly, I still don't understand why people are so opposed to marriage equality. It doesn't really add up cause I am sure they have the sense to see why it's at least fair.

Because if rights are not exercised and fought for things become static,and we get what we have now,with an ever growing federal government that has an ever growing lust for power and control.
Because people like yourself want to get rid of said rights instead of build upon them.
And people like yourself are what give rise to despots.
