I find it quite disturbing when I'm conforted by an Aussie who's speaks mainly speaks the language of Aussie slang.

It's like "G'day mate, how ya goin' sheila? Come join us blokes for a barbie and a smoko."

Have you noticed that a lot of Aussie construction workers speak with so much slang, it usually shows how literate they are.

I think slang used every now and then is ok, but used as a language is horrible.
