Well, I lose goth points for not having too many pairs of platforms. Not in my budget at the time especially since I don’t go clubbing so often. I stick to comfier everyday shoes like my Docs or nancy boots. Heee, they were both on clearance at a really crappy outlet mall when I was in New Jersey. Damn, I wish I could find one of those in Houston.

I even have a lovely pair of mary janes from JC Penny. The style is very similar to what you can order on goodgoth.com., but I didn’t have to wait for weeks and pay twice the amount. You can easily spot some nice stilettos at crappy places like Ross. Uhh…oh yeah, you’re up there in the UK. And my most cherished knee-high Docs are from some wannabee resale shop. If only they knew the difference between resale and the mall!!! But I must say that the price was staggering for such a nice pair of leather boots. Sorry that I killed a cow. So I suppose it’s a matter of luck and persistence. Look around and you can be a thrifty duckie like me.

New Rocks?? What were you thinking?
