Meta, that's a damned good charcoal!! I suck at charcoal, but I still have it in there with my pencils. I still dream about being able to do 'something' with it, but never take the time to practice between working, two kids, sewing and the internet, I never get anything done. I
do admire other artists that can stick with a medium and truly make something beautiful.
Right now, I'm on cloud nine!! I
finally found some modeling paste and some matte varnish, a new brush and some new red beads. All paid for by my Hobby Lobby giftcard!!! The modeling paste is for a doll I've been waiting to finish for a solid year, now. I rooted him with tiny purple and black braids just in front(kinda like a half mohawk, pix soon) and I could never find the modeling paste at my craft store to cover the holes dotting the rest of 'his' head. 'He's' a transgendered (formerly female fashion) doll. I can't wait to take some pix!!!!
