Hot Topic appears to me to be, not dissimilar to someone I knew at school(if the store was a person) who had to ask for fashion tips.

I kinda think the point is not where you buy the stuff, but what you do with it. It irritates me that people wear head-to-toe a whole outfit, without even attempting to put their own persnality into the ensemble. Tends to show a lack of originality.
I don't wish to be another sheeple* in the flock.
If I buy something from a store I dont like normally , who gives a flying f**k. If I see something that can be customised, again, who cares where it comes from.
*sheeple=a person who follows the unthinking masses, rather like um.....a sheep.
