Oh my god, dude, you have no idea how much I empathize with that. Seriously, since phones have been able to access most of the futures we once had limited to our PC's it's like most people have no reason to talk to anyone or have an actual conversation anymore. It's usually just small talk while they seek to "gratify" (instagram
) their egos by determining if they've actually actualized themselves based on the amount of likes they got that day.
FB can be pretty annoying sometimes for those reasons so I've gone into hiding on my old LJ account. I miss the fact that LJ had life in the communities I enjoyed back in the '00s but I kinda like it's ghost-towny feels these days. Helps get my mind off half the bullshit I see on FB. Really wish someone would revive the goth communities on there.
