My entire county is dealing with a selective smoking ban right now. All restaurants serving food, (where food surpasses liquor sales) are banned from allowing smoking within the building. The business has dropped 30% from my restaurant alone and we are fighting for an exemption but the future looks bleak. Anyone else have this sort of thing happen to them?

D.C. just passed a smoking ban (WOO-HOO!!!) for restaurants. I'll be interested to read about the effects it has on restaurants and patrons.
Unfortunately, the ban doesn't apply to bars or clubs for another year.
