Okay the saying that the story wasn't in TVL was my bad, i will admit that. I actually was skimming through one of my copies and realized I was actually past that I just haven't continued. And it's not so much that stories about Lestat bore me but more that Lestat himself annoys the shit out of me.

I think the reason TVL bores me is that it's written in how he himself would write the book. And quite honestly I think he's a narcisstic asshole. The QotD at least was not written in his view. Hopefully the others won't be either. I think that's the main thing that bugs me. I loved the parts with Armand and Marius, and Nicholas and Gabrielle...but anything with just him talking about himself...just...ugh.

I read the Queen of the Damned because it seemed way more interesting and I thought It may help me to finish TVL. And just to clear up - with the Tale of the Body Theif I only read the first few pages. Then went back to TVL. I know it seems confusing, but my mind is a little back and forth so it makes sense in my head.
