Hmm what would be the purpose of this fight?
I would want the pirate to win because someone has to be the one to kill the god knows how many years old vampire and I think it should be a pirate to do the job.
Yup. Pirate FTW
Aaaargh!

Maaan, that's just not fair. I find myself unable to vote. Especially since the third option is John Travolta. I just can't help being a die- hard fan of Grease. And pirates... after being converted by Cptn Jack Sparrow... well. But then there's my lasting love of vampires... Dammit, this really is mean.

Vampires - Blood-sucking beasts (yeah, beasts, fuck the Anne Rice pussy version of vampires) with a child mentality.
Pirates - Disenchanted privateers with a nobler moral code than the mercantilists, an egalitarian distribution of stolen riches, a proto-existentialist desire for excitement and life, and one of the first versions of universal healthcare.
Vampires suck. Plus, they could never survive in the Caribbean.

Vampires have super human powers and sex appeal. All the pirates would die, because they are out on a ship for months with nothing but dirty pirates. One vampire could seduce and slay everyone with a latent attempt at starting an orgy.

I never understood the pirates are awesome mentality... and Jack Sparrow pisses me off, Barbossa (sp?) is the real pirate in that mix.

Dude, pirates out in the sea for years are like prisoners. 1 hot vampire chick kills them all, then kills the female pirates for the lulz. John Travolta is then killed.

Travolta wins. His operating thetans level is like 7, he can kill a man just by thinking about him.

Because those all are dorky pirates. Now, Guybrush Threepwood on the other hand, THAT'S a real pirate! Arrrr!

Methadrine beat me to it, but Jack Sparrow sucks.
If you're talking about that mentality of pirates, then yeah; but it's no different than people that only care about the Anne Rice vampire version.
Now, if both kitschy versions suck, and we go into the original versions, it's just clear that pirates fucking rock.
Blackbeard burned hemp in his hair to look intimidating.
Stede Bonnet left all his wealth in the pursuit of adventure.
And Samuel Bellamy was the fucking man!!
"Though you are a sneaking puppy, and so are all those who will submit to be governed by laws which rich men have made for their own security; for the cowardly whelps have not the courage otherwise to defend what they get by knavery; but damn ye altogether: damn them for a pack of crafty rascals, and you, who serve them, for a parcel of hen-hearted numbskulls. They vilify us, the scoundrels do, when there is only this difference, they rob the poor under the cover of law, forsooth, and we plunder the rich under the protection of our own courage." - Samuel Bellamy, to a captured merchant vessel captain

Exactly, that is how it would all go down, but actually one attractive and clean male vampire with long hair could take out all of them and cage the rest for a human farm.

I'm going for John Travolta.
I liked him in Pulp Fiction. That's about the only reason.
And because he's immortal too.

Travolta. I think he's sexy. Pirates would die of scurvy, and REAL vampires are nothing but bloated rotting corpses.

Pirates and vampires.
Hmmm....Vampires. But maybe this choice stems from my long love affair with the living dead.
In first grade Bunnicula was my favorite book.
And I just cant stand John Travolta mainly for his performance in Grease
but i cant stand the whole happy 50s greaser musicals any more than i can stand the idea of being a housewife.
Although pirates have a fair place in my heart.

Travolta, Pirates and Vampires are cliche and overdone. Especially Vampires amongst mall goths, and Pirates of the Caribbean (which I love) has made pirates too, meh, mainstream I suppose.

Edit; also real pirates were just r apists and thieves, not to mention murderers; hardly 'cool'.

So your saying travolta will use his charm to over take the vampire and possibly offer money and fame. Then stab him through the heart with wooden stake?
I guess that's possible. Let the vampire do all the killing.

I feel like I should weigh in on this, but I think I'll just suggest this:
Vampire pirate played by John Travolta.
