My experience is with broadway styles, mostly. I'd love to learn tap, but I'm scared Imma go and kick someone's head off if I try. Apart from that I've been dabbling with ballet, bellydancing and contemporary. Oh, and I'm quite confident in ballroom and goth club dancing, as well!

i don't like tap dance very much, that said at least it doesn't induce vertigo

I'm impressed. You know, I was at the ballet when I was in St. Petersburg, Russia, and it's simply the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Only thing was, I had a hard time not to succumb to sympathetically cringing in pain whenever the dancers did something I know really hurts. Amazing, in a sort of morbid way.

My boyfriend will occasionally agree to give me jive lessons (his mother had enrolled him in lessons since he was four-ish). I would also love to swing.

Minyaliel, that's really awesome that you got to see ballet in St. Petersburg! I'm definitely not at that level, but right now I'm aiming to get into one of the smaller US companies. And yeah, all dancers have to make so many sacrifices to actually do ballet(or whatever else), that it can almost be sad to watch. You never really get used to the daily grind of training.

Ha, that's awesome.
I bet you got really into it, too, like you brought your own random black gymnast bartender to do backflips and what not in the background.
