Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

Fashion is fucking fun.

Damn right it is! I totally agree with you as I pretty much like to buy or sew my outfits to dress the way I want to.
OH L'Oiseau Noir, I see you have a thing for pinstripes as well? I am a sucker for pinstripes myself. I have quite a number of pinstripe outfits that I mostly made myself.

Wow! So many different styles! It's really cool to see how others dress up. ^.^ It seems a lot of people like jeans.

Plain and simple.

I love Victorian clothes, but I don't really own much of that style, though I wish I did. I usually wear jeans, a black t-shirt, converses, and a black sweatshirt and a choker. That's until I get a chance to get new clothes because I grew out of some. I love lace gloves and chokers, though.

I'm quite the babygoth here...I love the Victorian and l0lita styles although I'm rather poor and not technically skilled at creating clothing, so I don't have many clothing of such types. I like to keep the colors to a minimum--I'm almost always wearing black and/or grey, though I like white too, and I especially like these together--and I favor knee-length or short skirts and simple dresses. I have some random brightly-colored pieces as well and I like to find odd clothing at Salvation Army (my bright blue leopard-print jacket comes to mind). I have plenty of teeshirts and sweaters and I wear black jeans most frequently, and my shoes generally consist of quirky or simple flats or slip-on shoes for comfort. I'll admit I own quite a few accessories and shirts from Hot Topic but I don't look like a complete fashion victim, I promise! So I guess you would say I'm eclectic but in a safe way :/

My wardrobe consists of Victorian clothes: lacey shirts, gloves, mid- and floor-length skirts (I absolutely hate pants) and high-heeled shoes. I'm a bit reluctant to wearing colours, I tend to stick to black. I'm not too good at DIY, but I manage to find clothes I like by searching for them in random shops; it takes a lot of digging, but they usually turn up in the most unexpected places.

Yeah, I love pinstripes. xD
I have two pairs of pinstripe pants, and a pinstripe blouse.

I bet if you saw me, you would think I was some emo poser because I don't dress gothic at all. Jeans, a t-shirt....preferably something that isn't annoyingly cheerful...and a belt. Converses are essential for me, as are my Reeboks: gym shoes, because Converses are painful for soccer.

Right there with ya!! I dress up when I'm in the mood, but most of my everyday stuff is black, red or blue. I've got a dark blue velvet shirt that is so awesome, feels wonderful on skin, and many black pants. My fave is this black bondage-type shirt. It laces up the front, back and sleeves and is remarkedly confortable. Shoes are whatever floats my boat at the moment.

I've found myself being very minimalistic as of late. I almost look like a beatnick. (sp)
Slightly form fitting black jeans and black form fitting tee shirts, long and short sleeved.

Don't know about others but I wouldn't think anything negative about you until I talked to you. I'm a big fan of getting to know people first.

Well I've been pulling through these last couple weeks without any boots, which are my main shoes. So I've been wearing most of my skirts with regular striped socks and mary janes. I wear shirts layered over each other a lot, and usually an undershirt in a jewel tone. I really need to do wask though.

Hmmm...what do I wear? Usually just a pair of jeans and a shirt. Sometimes I attempt to mix a little variety in (coats, chains, fishnets, etc).
I really don't bother much anymore, I don't have time to plan out an outfit.

My clothing is a conglomeration of things that don't look gothic in themselves. I have dress shirts, polos, and T-shirts all in black, white, and red; that's nine possibilities. Then I have stuff like my ripped shirt, my Siouxsie shirt, Bauhuas shirt, a striped long-sleeved shirt, a striped purple/black long sleeve (quite emo, but it looks nice), some dark tone sweaters... all with black pants always.
They're quite simple alone; the only thing that makes them a little gothic is the predominant black, my hair, fishnets or disposable stockings improvised as undershirts, and the leather jacket now that we're in autumn.
