I don't believe in suicide personally, but there are some people who live in such pain that suicide is a viable option. Perhaps one should not judge them, and call them names, simply because one does not agree with their particular course of action.

I am not saying that the individual who started this thread is among the group for whom suicide is a viable option, but it is for some.

I understand that, but those some people are most probably not the type that have internet access to join a goth community for suicide tips.

Different people believe different things with regards to Christianity.

The traditional interpretation is that if one kills themselves then they will go to hell.

A more modern revisionist theorist believe's one would be forgiven for committing suicide.

As a member of a terminally ill community, I can tell you suicide is talked about often, and there is a couple of ways to accomplish your goal, but I would not advise it.

If you look hard enough I am positive that you have something to live for.

I'm being abused and I can't get out of it any other way.
If I keep living then it will simply go on into the day I die, so I much rather decide on the day and do it now.
The whole religion thing has me stuck though, I don't know what to believe. =/

Your deduction is a very reasonable one, Godslayer, but fortunately incorrect.

In fact many of my fellow Cystic Fibrosis kin have internet access, even when in the hospital. Many hospitals have special areas just for such things, as well as special accommodations, because being stuck in the hospital, especially if one is all alone can be very depressing and demoralizing.

In fact, there may be more Cystics or other terminal patients perusing these gothic pages than you think, they just may not have created profiles. I can’t speak for all terminally ill patients, but for many Cystics, the theme of being damned is common, and therefore there is an attraction to the Gothic Culture.

@JCC~ but I'm not the only one, all my brothers & sisters too, they'll most likely end up in a foster home at one of those organizations, but in my death things will change and my mother may grow strong enough to finally move on.

If it does anything, it'll only crush her and put more stress on her. There are plenty of places to go for anonymous advice, which means that they can't take any action that you don't want them to, just talk to you about your current situation, which I think you need before you think about doing something like this.

If you are honestly considering suicide, make sure you think long and hard about it first. It's not something that can be taken back.

Reporting it to the authorities would be an excellent option. I would at least see what happens with that before considering suicide any further.

In your death you will crush your mother with financial burdens and the knowledge that she failed as a parent. Funerals aren't cheap, and even in the unlikely scenario that you're insured, its void if you commit suicide. With the extra stress your siblings may very well get more abuse.

Abuse can't go on for the rest of your life, you can pull the plug now by notifiying the authorities.
