Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

I got my Doc Martins at a thrift store. Look around.
Just clean them up, polish them with some Kiwi polish.
Mine were scuffed, so I used light sandpaper to remove the scratches, then I polished them. The results were very nice.
Pleather boots are a mistake. I hear that they fall apart.

Not really, some brands have problems but not stemming from the fact that the boots are pleather.

Scroll down to the very bottom of this page and you might see what you're looking for. They're on sale now, too, though not under $100.

Those are two different things.

I didn't know that. I just don't eat meat. I can't stand the shit now.
Isn't "vegan" just shortform for "vegetarian"?

Vegan's don't eat anything at all from an animal.
E.G: Milk, Eggs, Cheese.
Joker: if you look around military surplus stores you should be able to find some canvas and plastic boots.
I'm not sure how much they normally cost though.

Vegetarians are people who don't eat meat, while vegans don't eat ANY animal products, milks, eggs, meats, and they don't where any animal products either, furs or leathers, so a vegan shoe is obviously fake leather. =)

Okay. That means I am a vegetarian. I draw the line at eggs, milk, and cheese.
I don't eat meat of any kind.

"My gramma says what about leading to the death of animals that I apparently care about too much to eat their dead flesh" I say, "Sure, hypocrisy suits me dandy."

http://www.d-decker02.com may have some vegan boots, the only thing is you got to switch the language setting , it's in Japanese. But the good news is, it's 2 pairs of boots for only $100, which is fairly cheap. Their shoes are allso very descent.

I got my Docs from a thrift store. They were about...Ł40, which is pretty good compared to most stores. They were a little beaten up so I polished them up and now they are as good as new. It's actually pretty difficult to find flat boots for girls, and I hate wearing heels. And they are perfect for JtHM cosplay.
