So, I was wondering, I freaking love platform boots and fishnets and collars, but I also love my big over sized sweaters and my floral print dresses that are robin's egg blue.
How could I wear both and not look like I'm crazy/trying to offend someone??

You could alternate between the styles, or combine them in a way that doesn't clash to your own eyes?

I own a wider range of clothing than I used to and combine them as I feel.

People will always be offended by excessive goth fashion because people are not only offended by alternative fashion but alternative opinion. The tolerance for anything is society is extremely limited because we are all essentially scared animals sticking to various tribes or cultures with different hierarchies. This all equates to either being offending or suppressing some part of yourself for life.. I really wish I could live out my life having the piercings I want and wearing vests and ties, but its not in the cards. Whatever your choice, everything can balance out positively, external suppression will result in some internal freedom, its simply up to you to make the choice.
