Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

Fucking Morbid Ideas
What are some of your more morbid ideas, applicable to fashion? How about earrings, made from the wrapped remains of mice fed to bird-eating spiders? That was my idea...
I saw a change-purse made from a dried frog once, and earrings made from eye-teeth. And there was that black metal guy who made a necklace from a part of his friend's skull, after he commited suicide with a shotgun. Anyways...
What are some of your morbid ideas?

Look at this:
http://www.necromance.com
It's my favorite online store because they'll never disappoint you with the morbidity.

So far I have hedgehog quills, a grouse head, the bones extracted from owl pellets ( day old chick legs ) and a large black beetle that are ready for use.
In the dead buckets I have a rat, a greenfinch and a large hedgehog decomposing for later use.
In the tray of salt under the bed are the wings I removed from said Greenfinch, which will either become a necklace or twin hairclips.
All from roadkill/already dead. I'm not in the habit of killing things for their bodyparts ( with regards for jewellery/wearable use only anyway , if I was going to eat whatever it was then fine )
I really like some of the stuff on that site but am exceedingly wary of their sources for the paws of animals and suchlike. I find it hard to believe they are all from roadkill ect, and wouldn't buy from a place that supports breeding any creature purely so it can be killed for it's skin/shell/wings or just a few small parts for use in decoration .

Eye-teeth are canines, and you can get them from your dentist(at least, if you have wicked cavites at thirty and have to have them pulled). I would ask your dentist, anyway. Maybe you'll get lucky.
^^^@Honeythorn: Awesome. I've got some butterfly wings myself, and I had some squirrel vertebre and partial skull(but my mom made me get rid f them before she kicked me out). They would've made an awesome necklace.

I love Necromance. In the décor sense of fashion, I have a muskrat skull on my front door wreath.

I got six teeth pulled, made one of the molars into a necklace and the others are going to be earings if I can find something to drill them with(hint hint).

Father found a perfectly dried baby frog on the windowsill in the men's toilets at work. No idea how/why it got in ( I wasn't aware they could climb walls ). Needless to say it is now in my posession and I have ordered a box locket with front window from Etsy to put him in ^___^

I am happy to see this sweetness back again. Honey, that is awesome. I would buy that--if I wasn't hopelessly poor.
Juice--very nice. I would call that morbid, and I would be proud to have that in my possession.
I once had a vial of grave water. That was cool.

That Cicero chick had some fucking awesome stuff. Little animal bones and stuff strung together into whatever she wanted.
Anyone still have a link to her e-bay store?
