Total agreement here. We have had a mild summer, but mid to us is vicious to the english. C'mere and experience what 95 degrees and 70% humidity feels like.

Not quite that hot here, but the humidity is worse. The only parts of Japan that aren't a steamy hell in the summer time are the northern island of Hokkaido and the north western coast of the main island of Honshu.

yeah.. we sometimes have 100% humidity... its been a mild summer though. Has been weird... usually this month is well over 100, but its been 90ish mostly. Kinda strange. But bear in mind, our summer starts in like April and goes until like, November. Its so hot so long here.. We have gardens that grow and fruit over and over and over... My tomato plants are currently 6 1/2 feet tall, no joke. They will keep growing until, eh, September, maybe.
Is cool though, because everyone is all in skimpy clothes due to the heat.. heheh... Go on campus and watch the pretty guys playing frisbee and soccer on the quad. *evi grin* I am such a perv..
Good news though... its forced my (very nice looking, if I do say so myself) husband to start working outside in shorts and no shirt, so he is finally getting tan. >:-)
