What made my day...I have problems watching Blip Tv on this computer but today it was okay, choppy but watchable, so I got to see the last three Nostalgia Chick episodes I missed. Not much I know but I love her!

No joke, but what made my day today was blowing out this huge gooey booger that's been stuck in my left nostril for about two days. Fresh air, I can BREATHE!

I tackled the 'parents discovering that you watch porn' dilemma with such valour and verve that victory was all but inevitable. I had forgotten to erase my history, so when my technophobic mother went on the computer to do something or other she just clicked on the URL box and sat there shaking uncontrollably, panickedly wondering what to do, giving Firefox adequate time to assume that a user was in need of assistance and kindly issue the drop-down menu, which had some porn site on it. Mum was like "FREE PORN VIDEOS? WHAT IS THAT DOING THERE?" and I just looked at her like I had been asked what year it was and said "Because I watch porn?" with such bewildered contempt at being asked such a bizarrely obvious question that she just looked guilty for having wasted my time with such silly inquisition. Then I put on my shades and rocked.

Please, hold your applause.

Finishing my Latin exam without any feels to whether I needed to double check my answers and being able to get my sushi pack with more sushi for the ultra-low price of five bucks. Then going to the language library and listening to Shing02.

I feel at ease.

Ha..... first time I got drunk with my dad, he started winding up to the porn talk so shyly I knew he'd found my fetish stash. I think he was worried he was raising a serial killer or something. He calmed down as soon as I told him my older brother bought most of it for me and no, HE didn't see any cause for concern. I guess he didn't consider the possibility that more than one of his kids enjoyed abusing women.

I found out that David Foster Wallace used to hang out at the same Steak & Shake which I often hang out at during his career at Illinois State University. My waitress knew him well enough to get some of his furniture when he moved away. She said he would hang out there so often and be dressed so shoddy that he had been mistaken for homeless a couple times.

Waking, after less than two hours sleep to discover I had drawn a giant robot on my bedroom wall. Totally made my day.

What made my day today was when I was standing on the street with my guitar waiting for my parents to back up the car so we could get going home, this kid and his mother passed me, and the second they passed me, the kid said to his mother: "That was a rock star standing there! :o"
That made my day for sure ^_^

That is a rather cute fact.

My day improved greatly yesterday when a vehicle drove past playing something groovy. I responded by grinning at the vehicle and bobbing my head. Their response to my showing approval of their music, I had chocolate thrown at me.

I'm not a huge casserole fan but my brother does make a really good one. Sometimes I wish he'd put a little less meat and a little more veg in them though.

Your brother can cook? *envies* I wish I could make cassroles but I fail at cooking. I like mine with lots of chicken and no veg. But some people like a lot of cheese and veg in them :}
