I think "The Shill" is the only place where shameless self-promotion can allowably happen.

I would recommend other forums that cater to the Gothic community, but I haven't been able to find one that isn't primarily populated by Hot Topic goers and other undesirables who are too unenlightened to notice that every other sentence I type is a Bauhaus quote or that my name derives from one of Poe's best stories. Small talk stinks. It depresses me that I see my username as the most recent poster on threads I commented on in the days of yore. Do you know any other sites besides this one that are "legit"?

I know there's a blog option here but I think you need a certain amount of posts to get one. If you should somehow be able to obtain one, you could post about it. I've tried searching as to how one can acquire a blog here but my efforts have been mostly fruitless.

That's what I thought. Oh well. I'll just have to keep posting on my all my other social media accounts.

It really doesn't matter to me if the bulk of my readers shop at Hot Topic or don't "get" the whole gothic thing in general, much less specific references (your name is awesome, btw!). Just as long as they read the comics and like them enough to laugh or giggle or even show them to their friends.

Some people may say that I am limiting myself and my audience by calling the strips "gothic" in the first place. *shrug* I can only write what I know.
