I got that blueberry pie just right!
I hadn't tried using flavoured tea (chai) instead of water when making the pastry before, or *anything* more complicated than sliced apples for a fruit filling, so I feel quite proud that both my local Americans expressed approval for my pie.
Next culinary experiment... um, not sure. Maybe macarons (those little french meringue-and-ganache treats, not macaroon cookies), or mizu yokan, or rose-water laddoos, or kueh dadar, or chicken satay, or tang yuan in ginger syrup, or cheese and bacon quiche, or ginger cookies, or poached pears, or something. Pick one from this list, and if the ingredients are available in my local shops (and I can afford them), then I shall make it.

Today, I had to make a major life decision! Which anime do I watch next?! I finished the last episode of Elfen Lied earlier tonight, which was a borderline masterpiece. If only there were more than 13 episodes. *sigh*
Anyway, I narrowed it down to two choices, re-watching Serial Experiments Lain for the umpteenth time or a series I never really got into before, called 'X', which has a very nice apocalyptic type storyline. Decisions, decisions.. and after a great deal of pondering the situation, I still could not decide.
So I'm watching both. This should be interesting.
Edit: On a side note, Serial Experiments just never gets old. <3

I got my tax return and it was a lot more than I was expecting. Not only do I have enough to pay off all my bills, I can afford a new computer afterwards ^_^ I want a desktop but I think laptop will be better for school, so I'm going to ask my dad to help me find a good deal next week.

Dude.
Dude.
I feel like the shit! I'm the shit! I have never made a girl moan as much as today. Was like a fucking porn movie. On the other hand, which adds to what made my day but at the same time it doesn't, threesomes are overrated.

Again my girlfriend. There's nothing better after a hard night of drinking than waking up to a grilled cheese steak sandwich and a note saying :"Gone to Shell to get fags. Enjoy sandwich."

Alan, perhaps you were unlucky in the pair you teamed up with? The threesomes I've had have been *excellent*, and I think that's been down to all three of us getting along really well as people as well as sex partners.
What's made my day- last few days, to be honest. I got a great new book on Wednesday, actually managed to run the first session of Dawnport without too much OoC chat on Thursday, baked awesome cookies and made £30 helping out at Beauty of Poison on Friday, and made a really tasty dinner then watched From Dusk Till Dawn on Saturday.

Alan, I second what Delkaetre has said ... it really all depends on the reltionships (preferably friendships) you have with the other parties. Although I will note that FFM's seem to be generally more relaxed than MMF's. Women usually prove to be more generous and tend to not be as rigidly fixed on territorial issues as men. That's a broad generalization I know, and there are exceptions. That's also not to say that the ladies can't have some issues with jealousy ... it's just less likely to be an issue when two women are sharing a man than if two men are sharing a woman.
Anyway, the problem may have been the pair you were with and it may have been where your head was at. And sometimes people engage in something they think they will be comfortable with and only figure out once things are set in motion that they are not as at ease as they thought.
Maybe one of these days I'll tell a story in "Sexuality II" that might be helpful.

To be honest, the problem was that I got bored. It was much more fun when the other girl left and it was just the one I really like and me. I guess not having been in a threesome before, we didn't know how to do it, so it was more of a 'my turn' kind of deal. Next time it has to be more thought out. But that was my story; I'm not even sure I felt comfortable saying it, though.

Bored, eh? Not going to pretend I can relate, but that's what was real for you. It helps if the girls aren't shy about being a bit playful with each other (and that can be as simple as a litte touch and some gentle carressing), otherwise it can become a bit of "when is it my turn" as one or the other feels like they are on the sidelines.

What's made my day? Reading a tweet from Roger Ebert: "Glennbeckistan appoints an "observer" to the real world, considering an official ambassadorship."
LOL!

Yeah, turnabout's not going to be great. With myself, Gent and Other Female, it's been a general love-in. Everyone all over everyone instead of one person sitting off to the side and waiting for the other two to disengage.
As for What's Made My Day- I have a new hairbrush and dear god it actually works. I can brush my hair without tearing clumps out, and it feels really pleasant on my scalp and leaves my hair all glossy and smooth. Thank gods for truth in advertising!
(also, I saw the 69 Eyes this evening. They were good- lots of great songs to sing along to, and Lacrimas Profundere in support were pretty enjoyable as well. Gig worth going to, I enjoyed it. But I am reminded of why I don't like people who go to gigs.)
