Shill Post your website announcements here. Anything that is blatantly SPAM (nigerian schemes, make money fast, etc) will be deleted. Actually, we'd probably keep the nigerian schemes around to make fun of it. |

*Goth Business partners wanted*
Hey there. Have been mulling over a few business plans for a while. Officially have reached a "need to be self employed" period of my life. I am looking to start a nice business (retail?) and wanted to see if any one on gothic.net might be interested in jumping in with me. I am looking for any number of people or businesses to work with. I have heard of many wickedly talented artists/musicians/crafts people that make anything from corsets, jewelry, costumes, falls, BDSM gear etc. So if you make cool stuff and don't have the time or energy to sell it yourself - I want to hear from you! If you already own and have operated a business that caters to the goth community, and are looking for someone to share the workload (and risk.) Drop me a line! If you have a business in North America, or Europe, and are looking to branch out - think "franchise" or "regional distributor" we need to talk. About me. I am a near elder-goth, with over ten years in marketing, project development for web and mass media. I bring a healthy dose of business savvy, common sense, and entrepreneurial blood lust. I am able to contribute the following to our endeavor. Web programming, hosting, advertising, and a full range of marketing services. I can also photograph, catalog, and sell merch, provide shipping, and customer contact. Plus access to some start up fundage. I.T. worker + 10 years + good credit score = easy to get loans. I already have domains reserved, on-line shopping carts, and a 100% feedback on ebay. I just don't have anything to sell!
I am working for a web start up currently. I figure I have about a year or so of full time employment before we get bought out by some big AOl/Time warner, Google, or Walmart monster. I want to use this time to get a business going and hope to make new friends along the way. I am WAAAY serious about this and making it work. But am only willing to work with people with good ethical standards, reliability, and honesty. Anybody I work with will be a goth doing business with other goths. So it is important that we do things the Right way and have a communal sensibility. I don't want to sell anything that falls apart or rips after 3 days, (no cruddy merch) I also refuse to rip people off. There is enough of that these days. I want the Hot Topic, "baby bat" from the burbs to be able to do business with us without fear that they might be paying too much for their boots. Know what I mean?
If this sounds like something anyone would be interested in - Please PM or email me at rgber459 - comcast.n I am located in South East US,and can meet with in person or vid conferencing if necessary. Dark Blessings and luv. ...SS

I realize this is shill, i realize this is advertising, but if you expect a response, any response at all, you need to show your "polite" side and introduce yourself. In the proper thread. I'm sure someone with your marketing savvy and experience can find it.

To be honest Emerald, I (personally) don't really mind his approach. Hell, if I was more into that, and I'd love to be, perhaps in a few years, I'd take him up on his offer.
Ya, I guess you could do with a formal introduction, but for your purposes you're set. Welcome to G.net

Hey Emerald, and Jayden! I thank you both for your input. Emerald, I normally don't breach message board protocol. But it took me a while to write up and organize what I wanted to say, so I wanted to get it posted while it was still nice and squishy in my head meat. Look forward to speaking with you both in the future! regards, ...Supah

Hey gothicmaggot! At the moment I am trying to find like minded folks to start a business. So no jobs per se yet. I have toyed with the idea of starting a retail business or some such. Not into promoting or events, as there are few clubs in major cities and those that organize tend to do a good job. Definately no magazines either - there are too many good free web zines.
