Which Gnet stories were nominated for this? It wasn't "pizza man" was it?

I think they mean that even though Pizza Man is bad, it was published during Darren's time and he was the guy nominated. However the original story seems to have been removed from the site, the only reference left here is the commentary thread which was from 2008? Which is odd, but I'm willing to bet it wasn't published before 2001, which was the last time Gnet was ever nominated, after a three year run.

It was a really bad short story that was on the site for a long time but seems to have been removed. I don't think I ever finished it, Despanan could probably give you a point by point explanation of why it was terrible.

Who wrote it? That should tell you something, although not all of the contributors were members of the forum, IIRC. I remember TStone, Goldberg, Seth and Darren's stuff was normally good. I wonder if Flemco's still doing his web comic?
