We're getting some new folks involved in the site and we've also gotten a new (and much improved) server, so hopefully, with some help and attention, we can unfurl the sails of this ghost ship and head toward new spooky adventures.

One question, should we expand the focus from Dark Literature and Media, to be a bit more culturally all inclusive within the Gothic genre? What are your thoughts?

I know this is a while after the initial post, but I'd be happy to see this place full of (un)life again!

I think activity on FB (as much as I detest it) would be the best place to start. And maybe some frequent and regular posts by the admins and mods, just to let us know that you guys are still around. (Daily? Weekly? At least monthly!)

As a lonely young goth I sincerely hope goth.net has a resurgence or another new social media comes to fill its shoes. My local scene (like most everyones) is so dead. I'm lucky to have a goth/industrial club night not too far from me, but its usually just furries /: (no hate to furries). We need to network better people! Goth is dying and the only way to breathe new life into it is young-blood like me womp womp.
