i'll bite. Don't have ten favorites per se, but some books which have really affected me;

Dostoyevsky - The Brothers Karamazov
Vonnegut - Timequake
Beckett - Waiting for Godot
Chomsky - Manufacturing Consent
McCarthy - Child of God
Kesey - One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Kerouac - Big Sur / Doctor Sax
Faulkner - As I Lay Dying
Barker - the Regeneration trilogy. Yeah, the whole damn trilogy.
Hamsun - Hunger

Its really not definitive and it definitely isn't what I consider to be the best books I ever read, just ones that I very much enjoyed or meant a lot to me.

I would have liked to pick more fiction, but its the religion books that mean the most to me.
