Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

All we've got is 2 uber lo-fi songs on cassette we recorded in my basement. I'm not creating a myspazz, instead I'll do a flyer kinda pamphlet thing.

My friend drums for this surf punk band. As far as I know they only play house around ottawa and toroto, but they're always a lot of fun.

Ahh, Calabrese.. I did not think much of them at first, but they've been growing a good deal on me lately. While to procure some additions of my own.-
Soul Merchants- My favorite underrated Goth outfit of all time.

These are literally the only two songs I've been able to find from them online, in spite of their extraordinary prolificacy. Am tempted to upload more myself, having purchased three of their albums with 50 songs in total.
Eddie and the Subtitles-

One of the most obscure and unique groups I love listening to, which unfortunately put out only two albums before their vocalist overdosed on heroin. Their tracks peculiarly alternating in style from punk, to pop, early rock and post-punk; whereas most multi-genre bands seem to mix such styles in total or at least alternate between releases.

Would also love to share the song "Marsh", by "Vice". Although I can't even find a single mention of this group online, meaning that I'd have to upload personally or email it from my compilation disk of "Plan-X From The Eastern Dark"

Slim Twig and St. Vincent come to mind. I'll toss CocoRosie on there, as well. Hmm, what about Lamb and Portishead?

In Defence from Minneapolis hold the hardcore punk/silly themes banner high around these parts.

A couple of UK bands I like...
Dyonisis
Alice Moving Under Skies
The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing
Ghostfire
I know that the last 2 are SteamPunk bands but they are still cool. "The Men" are absolutely hilarious (who else could do the Christmas carol "Silent Night" in the style of Rammstein?)
