I think Valerie from Catatoxic is a great singer, besides being beautiful and Gothic!

Ok heres some good band with female vocals
Theatre of Tragedy
Sirenia
Black Tape for a Blue Girl
Nightwish
Lacuna Coil
Evanescence
Ayria
Bloodflowerz
After Forever
Leave' Eyes (same female vocals as Theatre of Tragedy)
The Sins of thy Beloved
Tristania
Tapping the Vein
Collide
Elis
The Gathering
Within Temptation (Sharon Den Adel is a god among symphonic goth metal)

All of those bands atleast have SOME female vocals, just about all of them classify as Goth Metal/Darkwave bands.

The thing I dont like about Theater of Tragidy is that her pleasant vocals get drowned out by the main dude's silly gutteral nonsense. He needs to act like a good man should and shut the fuck up and let the lady handle it.

Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, Drain STH, Within Temptation, Sneaker Pimps, and of course...

Garbage!

I only mentioned the few that are my favorites. I'm kind of tired, so I might have left out a few.

QUEEN ADREENA! I love Katie Jane! XD

Floor Jansen from After Forever has a pretty amazing voice too. The music's so-so, but her voice is incredible.

Cradle of filth has a fenake member, but she doesn't sing too often. Try some of the song like "Tearing the veil from Grace" or "Nymphetamine" (featuring the blessed Liv Kristine!)

Kittie doesn't have the greatest vocal talent, nor the best musical talent. But they've got a nice angry sound and the melodies aren't horrid. They're in the same category for me as bands like Dope or Static-X. They don't do anything particularly amazing but the sound the put together is fun to listen to when you're in the mood for it. If you don't like Kitty then definately go get yourself some Crisis - you'll looooove that

I don't remember - did anyone mention L7 or Babes in Toyland?

shame on me if I forot them in my earlier post - especially the Babes. What a great show that was

I like the Donnas and Kittie.

Kittie is an amazing band considering they came out with their first album in high school.

Did anyone mention Lords of Acid or Bikini Kill?

Ok, I just checked their bio and their lead singers have always been female.

First, Nikkie (or Darling Nikkie) and then Deb.

So poo on you, Korova!
