Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Instruments
I am just curious as to what instruments you people here play *all or favourite*
Because usually musicians are connected to their type of instrument they play and the instruments sort of tell what kind of person they are.
That being said (rather horribly, I must say), I myself am an Organist *no stupid jokes* and Bassist, but my favourite has to be the Organ.

Mechanically they're related, but in style far apart.
the organ has buttons, knobs, tabs, multiple keyboards (2 or more, I play regularly on a 3 manual), a pedalboard (big keyboard for feet), and 100s to 1000s of pipes, and a damn wind compressor XDD
*sticks nose even further in-air, until neck problems take over* xDD
but honestly the accordian kicks major ass

You could put a dent in the facade, but those pipes are fake, and you'd end up damaging your accordian more. :P
I don't doubt, but I doubt you could even throw that high anyways o_O, as the organ is mounted at the top of the church, so just drop it, and chillax. so others may post without having to sift through this friendly/rivalry debate

Guitar, keyboard, uh... drum machine?
I'd like to learn bowed bass, maybe violin. Besides what I just mentioned, I love the bassoon, oboe, and clarinet.

I play the flute. It's boring to play, but pretty sounding.

I'd just much rather not have to do school concerts and march in parades and stuff. Otherwise, I do like it.

I used to play the bassoon, then I graduated from high school. Since a good bassoon runs in the range of US $5,000, my parents were not open to purchasing one for a not-so-good bassoonist.

I used to play the guitar, but grew frustrated just as I was getting good. The day I told my mother I was quitting lessons, I explained that the pen was my instrument. Cliched, but true; I really did want to pursue writing over music.

I play guitar, bass, some piano, a bit of harmonica, drums every once in a while, the voc cords, and a couple others.
