Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

Steel fingernail tips
Does anyone know a website which sells steel fingernail tips like Tom Cruise had as Lestat in Interview with the Vampire? I read this here:
http://www.leathernroses.com/general...abloodplay.htm
Many scene and Goth stores sell long, beautiful steel fingernails that can be worn over a fingertip. They have very sharp points with which the vampire punctures the sub's tender flesh.
I can't find one though.

Is this for you to use, or is it just for decoration? If it's decoration, you can get them from any Hot Topic or similar store. If you intend to use it, then I have to ask if you intend on using on consensual partners only..?

Yes, I intend to use it. On one consensual partner only. 'Safe, sane, consensual' is the ever quoted motto of those of us into BDSM.
Not sure about the sanity but the other 2 are imperative.

Hot Topic don't seem to have them so any other suggestions would be very welcome.

I meant that HT has decorative ones, not useful ones.
Have you asked your partner where to find one? They may know. Also, you can always check out the links page here on Gnet and see if anything pops up concerning vampiric lifestyle commodities.

Have you considered a straight razor? I think it would be more effective, and probably easier to come by.
I have a nice scalpel for that kind of thing, and was always planning on getting a straight razor, but I'm not that interested in bloodplay anymore.

I haven't asked my partner if he knows where to buy one as I thought it would be a nice surprise to introduce it at the appropriate moment.
I've already used a scalpel on him. A straight razor would be a good alternative though.

Well Idon't know anything about steel finger tips, but I do remember hearing about finger armor which is similar. I also remember xombie doesn't like finger armor so I must apologize in advance if you do decide to read this post xombie.

I saw that movie, it's a good one. I bet you could find those finger tip things if you looked around for them, but what for?
