Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

Hair Troubles
Alright, due to a case of the super lice, I had to shave my head a few months ago. Now, I have had my hair loooooong for the past few years, at it's longest the small of my back, and it's shortest just below my shoulders. Even though my hair has grown in around 3-4 inches now, it still feels so strange and unnatural. I haven't even been styling it or anything.
I need some acceptable short hair styles/ideas until my hair gets to be an acceptable length, because it's seriously just depressing to be decked out in my metal garb with short blonde hair. I feel so very unfashionable.
Any tips/pics/whatthefuckever will be appreciated, if you guys need I'll post pics of my current hair.

I have made a post so useless I don't even get mocked in it. That's a first.

Firstly, post a picture.
Secondly, you're wearing metal gear. It doesn't matter what your hair is like, you're going to look like a dick.

I didn't say anything because for once, in the matter of hair, I have nothing to contribute. Short hair is not my thing.
Go dye it black? *shrugs and walks away*

This.
My suggestion would be to toss some gel in that shit, go for a messy/spiky look. I've known plenty of people into metal fashion with short hair. You don't have to walk around looking like Wierd Al, ya know?

Look into maybe getting some synthetic dreads installed. they're fun and easy and you'll have long hair again. And you can get them in nearly any color.

Synth hair/synth dreads is always a good fallback, as per EdenLaTrobe's suggestion. But I also agree that some pictures of your face shape and coloring with your current hair length would be extremely helpful. I'm not terrible at hair, and am happy to help, I just need a little more information.

Thank you LakitaJackson, I really find your comment immature. It is a personal taste that I find looks good when done right.

I used to have a shaved head. I shaved all of it except for my bangs. My advice is to invest in lots of awesome hats. This is the perfect opportunity (and excuse) to wear lots of hats, bandanas, whatever. Also, some cute bows might be in order as well. Accessories can be your best friend when your natural ones are lacking.
