Agreed. I'm not so sure that hes doing it for the punk look or not. Very possible. But more likely cause he likes it just for what it is. When you start dressing a certain way only because thats the sort of message you want to send then thats sort of being a poser. Dress in what your comfortable with, not what other people are. Like me, I dont really give 2 fucks. I've gone out strollin in some raggedy old tripp pants and a maternety sized shirt with white tigers with sparkling blue eyes. Why? Cause I wanted to. : P I may have contradicted myself somewhere along the line here.

You can say that you are doing it because you want to but that really doesn't say anything because there is a reason why you want to.

I would have to agree that there is likely a reason behind the choice, however I fail to see why it matters. There may be a reason for someone wanting to wear a fashion item like a bullet belt...but it doesn't matter to me in the slightest what that reason may be. I don't understand why it matters to anyone else either. A debate over a belt...so trivial and ridiculous.

You know what's more ridiculous? To get pissed at something you consider ridiculous.

Ha, ha! I'm not pissed thank you, just perplexed. But I'll take my leave of the discussion.

Wearing a bullet belt for punk cred is indeed kinda lame but still a decent enough excuse to wear one, even though it may not be an excuse that I would be attracted to or fully respect.
Fashion is art. I agree.

Agreed.
I don't get why people can't just wear clothes anymore.
There's always got to be some sort of fight about it.
heh.

Because someone will always have something to say whether you like it or not.
On the flip side, though, they can't stop you from wearing it. Just tell the truth, be prepared to seriously and consistently defend yourself like a mature adult if someone has a problem with it (Read: Stuff your curses and insults if you're not going to use them wisely, let alone spell them correctly) and soldier on.

....did you just say you agree with Kontan and then proceeded to miss the point and say the exact opposite he did?

Thank you Joker and Kontan, this is what I've been trying to get at here for ages, and I'm glad I've still got supporters around. It's just a belt, there's no need to get all worked up about it.
What next?

I've ordered from Studsandspikes.com a couple of times. Aside from the odd spike with a malfunctioning screw thread (they replaced these when I asked) and once an extra customs charge I've never had any problems with them, and I'll probably order from them again in the future.
Bullet belts are cool, but I'd definitely go for the ones with points on them.

Well you didn't read my post before that, the one that goes like this:
"To answer a question, I like bullet belts because I THINK THEY LOOK NICE AND ADD A NICE TOUCH TO WHATEVER CLOTHES I'M WEARING!!! That's it dude, there's no other way to explain it. I also like the look of the belt because alot of the bands I like and listen to wear them. Suprise suprise. Sepultura, Napalm Death, Destroy!, Disrupt, Apocalypse, Nausea, Extreme Noise Terror, the list goes on.
I could go into a whole discussion why I choose to dress a certain way and all that other shit, but what's the point. I do it because I want to. I've gotten to the point on here where I'm starting to care less and less about what you say Alan. I've got real life friends, several of which happen to psot here, you don't matter to me, they do, and they always will matter alot to me, not you."
That one.

This whole thing is just a bit ridiculous now. Everyone has verying opinions and shit, and sometimes end up stabbing themselves in the back, and other people dont understand the shit others are trying to say. Either way, like it or not, wear them or not, its about bullet belts. Everyone stop fuckin grilling everyone else over some dumb pissing contest. Instead of being dicks, why dont we all think positively?
And the reason why I want to dress a certain way changes daily. If I'm feeling lazy, grab whatevers laying on my floor. If its a fancy day out, get some fishnet, strap on my boots and hook up my chains and I'll jingle like fucking christmas. If its work, durable camo pants combat boots and flanel. How I dress is based on situation and personal asthetic. NOT what others tell me to, I'll take sugestions but I'm not looking for aproval.

I'm not looking for any approval either, I'm just tired of dicks talking all the time about how much better they are than me.
