I agree with this.
Besides that, the loli look was inspired by Rococco and Victorian fashions.
I love both, and so desperately wish it was more easily [and cheaply] available.

It really isn't that hard to make, the shape plus all of the folds and whatnot can easily hide sub-par fit and stitching.

I made a headdress once. It came out really good. I had several gosurori patterns that I gave to my mom to help me out with, but since they were in Japanese she said she couldn't make out most of them. It saddens me because my favorite dresses are the ones from Angelic pretty. I did find this website though http://www.rosechocolat.com/ It's still kind of expensive but not AS.

I believe that when you hit a certain age, you should not do things you did when you were younger. However if you are going to make clothes of the ****** style, try mixing modern clothing (that is age appropriate) with the ******.

See if a local craft store gives a intro class to sewing or something, with a machine its pretty easy to learn.

Anyone who says that ****** is for people under 25 are the same who will say that Goth is for high schoolers and naive college kids. Fashion is to the person, and anyone can pull of anything, as long as they understand the fashion.

Nah, as with any style, there are always certain clothes that look good and don't. With lolit.a, you just need to shy away from the pink frilly dresses. That doesn't mean the entire style should be thrown out though. Yeah 40 year olds probably shouldn't be walking around in a petticoat and carrying a teddy bear. But, they could probably pull off the more Victorian styled selection.
