Yes, he did, and so what if he was wrong? He admitted it and moved on. ?He wasn't rubbing it in anyone's face, or at least not to my knowledge.

I like Lady Gaga.
Saw a show of hers last year actually. It was great and I had loads of fun.
Most people either love her or hate her though.
Ophelia, I never would have thought you were into Gaga though:P
What's your favorite off the new album?
I haven't heard most of it yet.

Honestly why are you people even taking the time to discuss this...? I mean to count her as a artist is appalling she doesn't even make her own music for one thing and for another thing the people who actually do get no credit whatsoever because apparently they're not a diverse crazy bitch stripper that Lady Gaga is and always will be.

It might be true that people who are less crazy get less attention, but has it ever occurred to you that a great deal of them don't want the kind of attention she gets? Just saying. It's not impossible to do what she does, but it does take dedication and a disregard for your critics, which is at least a bit respectable.
