Oh, and I cannot go without washing my hair every day. Greasy hair is a self pet peeve of mine.

Hey I wouldn't bleach it before you put a two color on it..
Bleach is sooooo hard on your hair, and when you strip it and THEN color it, you are going to have some problems..
What color is your hair right now?
I just dyed my hair black and red. I did both colors at the same time, and used foil to separate the hair.
But the Bleach AND the black and red is asking for trouble..
Thats just my opinion. Let us know how it turns out.

thought it will be hard on your hair, bleaching the spots you want red will give it a more virant red. but i dont recommend stripping your whole head. bleached hair dosent not hold black well at all.

Well, a GREAT place to start, might be the " Haircuts/Hairstyles/Hair Color Mega Thread " that I am about to merge the hairstyle thread YOU created with..
Just a thought..

Has anybody ehre heard of a vitamin called Sea Kelp? A friend of mine is a hair-stylist and said that if you keep taking it your hair should start to grow considerably faster.
Just thought I'd give you all that little tip, if you're growing out your hair.

Doesn't Sea Kelp Moisturise your hair? that's what I heard from my mom's friend...who happens to be a hairstylist/makeup artist....

He just told me it makes it grow faster as it strengthens your hair, and stronger hair grows quicker. I'm not entirely sure on the definate things it does, all I know is when he uses it, his hair shoots down, ha.

Hey, im new to the board. howdy. A couple months ago i got a haircut i just adored, sadly it was too short so i let it grow out til i fully loved it to death. Well that feelling is gone now on a count of all these people calling me emo. I wanna kinda keep the same cut..long in the front spikey in the back, but i dont know what to do. I wanna modify it a bit. i think i need to bring the spiked shorter hair a little higher on my head. Any tips on hwo to modify this 'do?

Thinking of cutting my hair short...
Problem is, while I have mostly feminine features, I unfortunately have an almost guy-ish chin and jawline. Nothing too extreme, but I'm afraid it will bring it out in me.
I'm a long hair person but I like to expirement, plus my hair is too damaged to get it really blonde like I want.

Hair doesn't fall out when it gets longer, don't be silly. It's only that when it's longer you have more of it to fall out, and you notice it more. It's perfectly normal to shed a lot of hair every day, which is why it's hard to tell if you're shedding too much or not.
Still, cutting all your hair off is pretty fun.

I take it you've done it then...?
I'm not sure about cutting my hair. I really like it long. At the same time, I'd like to have much lighter haircolour, and a nifty short style.
If I go from very long to short, it would be great but it would feel like i'm defacing something and I might not like it. I doubt doing it in gradients would help as inbetween lenghts are never very impressive and I wouldn't notice until i'm done.

I have really curly hair, it was maroon in the back, blonde in the front, now I just dyed it black, and I friggin love it. I have tan skin, cause I'm mixed, so the dark hair makes me look so much lighter. love it. My boyfriend also chopped off a bug chunk in the back, because my hair grows faster in the back, so I get a mullet after a while. I ain't no Joe Dirt, so I had to whack it off.
