I listen to ALOT of Un-Goth bands...
Nina Simone, (old) Robbie Williams, Sugababes, Vader...blah blah blah.
I LOVE Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio...LOL!....it's excellent.

I'm also a huge fan of Metallica's first three albums.

Also, Madonna (Come on, you know her sexual liberalism, near Bdsm image, and burning crosses, self, were so Goth  ), Bjork, Sinead O Connor, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Woodstock music, Country music based around fiddle-style violins and big orchestras, whatever the hell Johnny Cash falls under, Blues (Creedence Clearwater, BB King, and some others I can't remember), Miles Davis, etc.

I actually find many elements of The Doors and Pink Floyd in lots of the goth rock I listen to.
I think it's interesting to hear something that may have inspired the goth movement in some way musically.

I'll listen to just about anything. People sometimes laugh when they see my mp3 list. I have a weird thing for the Beach Boys, my boyfriend too. He got a funny look at Sonic once when he was playing them pretty loudly. I guess the people there expect us to blast Marilyn Manson

I don't really listen to just goth music. I have a very eclectic music taster but do prefer goth overall. I do not, however, like grunge. I really can't stand it.

It is just so soft and peaceful. It is kinda high, but it suits her. I like it  I mean, when she did her rendition of that Nirvana song it was so much better than when Kurt Cobain did it. She made it almost sad sounding and you wanted to cry, whereas he just kinda screeched it.

I listen to a wide variety of music such as jazz, classical, 50's rock n roll, but the strangest has to be an album my husband and I bought at 3am years ago when we were very tired but crazy, it's called 'german beer music' and it cracks a smile on my face everytime I hear it, it makes me think of the film national lampoons european vacation and lots of people dancing around with huge jugs of beer.
I'm also a big fan of weird soundtracks, like the music from the films crash & videodrome, kinda stuff that makes you tingle a little. I also love alot of 80's pop.

You win at life. Phantom of the opera is awesome, I went to see it about a month ago and ever since I've been obsessed. I'm hoping I'll get tickets to go see Priscilla for my birthday .
The majority of the music I listen to can't be classified as being anywhere near goth, this week I'm in love with Regina Spektor, she has an amazing voice and I like the way her songs are written, not to mention the fact that she is just adorable. I'm also way to obsessed with Placebo for my own good, I was so sad when I found out that Steve left the band. Placebo just isn't Placebo without Steve. I also loves me some AFI and some MCR and copious amounts of Blaqk Audio.

the only metal music I listen to is Opeth and Rammstein. I love listening to French and Japanese Pop. What would RadioHead be considered?
